Sail away...

Hello brothers far and wide,

I just wanted to give you all a little taste of sunny Florida in the month of November. Having graduated from the University of West Florida in December of 2005, I quickly got a job at Eglin Air Force Base as a Software Engineer. No government jokes please, because most people are amazed as to how much work I have to do working for the civil service.

I have been sailing quite a bit lately and I love it. I am slowly going to move up in ship size, but for now, 14' is great to take out into the bay (haven't tried the Gulf yet). This particular lesson was with UI alum Greg Frankamp and his dad on vacation from Idaho. Like the shirt? Represent!!!

I am currently taking classes in my spare time through the University of Florida (go Gators) for my Masters degree and I distinctly remember why I was so happy to have finally graduated. Classes are not fun, but the reward is worth it. I just wish I was done with school once and for all!

I plan on eventually making the trek down to UF's Theta Chi one of these days and represent, but I really don't know when that will happen.
